EARTH DAY!
We have several options you can use to celebrate Earth Day! Get outside and enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer. What are you grateful for? How are you lucky? Write or draw about it. Use this document to think about a new goal and change of focus (where and how you spend your energy). Start by thinking about what you are good at! Write it or draw it (maybe you are good at writing or drawing...being a good brother or sister, playing games, helping at home...) Next consider what you'd like to change. What is not working for you? Do you want to change how you feel? How clean your room is? How much time you spend outside? Finally, what will you change for a new goal? For example- I will come to mindfulness and yoga each week so I can feel more energy. Here is a link to a google doc you can type on if you don't want to print this. |

EARTH DAY
Use this reflection sheet to think about what you can do on Earth Day and every day to help make our world better. Think about Little Lou and LIttle Lee in our story, "Where in the World is Away?" SUNFLOWER JOURNEY We are growing sunflowers and will talk about them in several lessons. Sunflowers are known for following the sun each day. What helps you feel sunshine? Write or draw about it on these flowers. DIRT ON MY SHIRT We've had a lot of fun getting dirt on our shirts and playing in the mud. Here is an opportunity to make your own poem or change the original. |
